Pleses help me in restoring files

Hi Yann - thanks for your messag, i am a missionary of Ahamdiyya muslim comunity. I upload some pictures from alislam.org, but they were deleted. what can i do? these are old pictures taken in 1900. which licence i should provide for restoring these pictures? The copyright of a picture is usually owned by the photographer, not by the subject or someone who has a print. And it is not because there are used illegally on the web that we accept them. We also require a permission if the images were published on the web before being uploaded here. Please send a permission following the procedure at COM:OTRS, or ask the copyright owner to do so. Hi, i noticed that you have deleted my file of Hanna Marin of Pretty Little Liars. I would like to insert in wikipedia a screenshot of Pll characters and i don't know i can i do it without violate copyright. User:Jcpag2012 again

Hi Yann, last month you warned User:Jcpag2012 about creating fake POTD pages. Yesterday and on Friday he nominated three pictures at Featured picture candidates (File:Neptune_Full.jpg, File:Mars 23 aug 2003 hubble.jpg, File:The Sun in extreme ultraviolet.jpg), and he then immediately created POTD templates for them (Template:Potd/2015-11-06 (en), Template:Potd/2016-01-20 (en), Template:Potd/2016-01-03 (en)) even though voting has not finished and one of the candidate images was rejected. Imágenes eliminadas

Recientemente han sido borradas varias imágenes que he subido, entiendo que el problema es de derechos de autor ya que son imágenes que aparecen en la página skyscrapercity y tomadas por otras personas. Naturalmente yo le he pedido a ellos permisos para subir las imágenes y ellos me lo han dado. Me gustaría saber qué debo hacer para poder subir archivos de otras personas que me han dado su consentimiento para hacerlo pero que no he podido demostrar ante Wikimedia, además por estar en otras páginas de internet. Les images sur les bouteilles sont soumises à un droit d'auteur. Dans ces deux cas, il y a un dessin complexe récent, il faut donc une permission (voyez COM:OTRS/fr). 1. Could you please elaborate on what exactly you need regarding the permission and why?
2. What made you call for it now? After all, the image has been up for a couple of years now.

1. The copyright is owned by the publisher. This is a recent book, so a permission is needed.
2. Unfortunately, we still discover copyright violations after some years.
3. Fair use is not accepted on Commons. The text is perfectly readable when zoomed in. You can upload it on the English Wikipedia with a fair use rationale.

Carte problématique

Bonjour, juste pour info, la carte [1] mélange régions historiques réelles ( = reconnues par tous les historiens) avec des inventions protochronistes [2] comme la "Triballie" [3] et pire, compte parmi elles la zone d'occupation roumaine en URSS pendant la seconde guerre mondiale [4] où le régime Antonescu [5] s'est rendu coupable d'atrocités. Je suis en train de discuter avec l'auteur, qui me semble de bonne foi, mais influencé par l'ultra-nationalisme, pour le faire changer d'avis, mais je ne sais pas si j'y arriverai... Côté armoiries historiques également, il y a du mélange entre écus anciens attestés et inventions récentes (dont la Triballie et la Crisana). Je vous signale cela parce que j'ai vu que vous avez déjà épinglé une de ses images. En tant qu'administrateur, vous saurez comment agir. J'ai moi aussi fait des erreurs de licence à mes débuts sur Commons et il arrive parfois que certaines de mes images soient discutées, parfois à bon escient (et je donne dans ce cas mon accord pour l'effacement), parfois non (une image fausse et même grossièrement fausse, voire falsifiée, anachronique ou apocryphe mais abondamment sourcée, a plus de chance d'être gardée qu'une image représentant une situation réelle et connue des chercheurs, mais moins bien sourcée). droits d'auteur

bonsoir, je suis totalement incompétent concernant les droits d'auteur et le dépot de photos autoriséees. je n'ai toujours pas compris la manière de justifier la source. par exemple une photo sur gallica (publique, libre de droits), une photo de famille ou des actes d'état civil provenant d'archives personnelles, une photo prise par moi-même d'un objet dans mes collections (type carte postale de + de 100ans) un article de journal ancien (+de 100 ans) etc... je pense en conséquence que le plus simple est de supprimer toute source de différents et de consacrer mon temps a autre chose. merci d'avoir attiré mon attention sur une façon d'agir inconvenante due a mon inexpérience et mon incapacité a comprendre une logique de base.--Jc4xcat (talk) 20:46, 21 May 2015 (UTC)

bonjour Yann, je suis toujours dans la panade. concernant les tableaux de Fernand Piet et tous les autres documents concernant aussi bien les Mozin pére et fils, ainsi que les descendants Jules Piet, Fernand Piet etc.. toutes les photos proviennent des archives de la famille et m'ont été communiquées leur descendant. pour ce qui concerne les photos sur trouville, je comprends que celle ci soient peut-être protégées par un droit d'auteur mais j'ignore comment le savoir. La 1ére photo que j'ai déposé concernait le comte St-Alary et provenait de gallica qui indique qu'elle est dans le domaine public, donc j'ai du oublier un détail dans la description ou la catégorie. toujours au sujet de St- Alary les caricatures sur la fiche de Sta sont dans ma collection et les photos sont mon travail:quel est la bonne présentation ? comme vous voyez autant de cas d'espèce qui me plonge à chaque fois dans le même embarras. Consacrant l'essentiel de mon temps à la recherche de documents et par conséquent à la correction des nombreuses erreurs (date, nom, lieu etc..)je n'ai pas trop approfondi le processus de wiki commons. je ne sais pas d'ailleurs comment changer la fiche et ou. Category:Views from outside of trains

Hello!

Juste pour information, cette catégorie à priori avait été créée pour y ranger les photos prises depuis l'extérieur d'un train, du genre (quand c'est encore possible dans certains pays) bras tendu hors du train permettant de le rendre visible sur la photo bien qu'on soit installé dedans. C'était une manière de différencier des simples "vue depuis la vitre". Je trouvais cette différenciation intéressante^^ mais bon c'est pas grave tant pis, s'il faut faire sans on fera sans. Couple of closures

I'm a little perplexed by your closure of Commons:Deletion requests/File:Bismarck and Prinz Eugen.jpg and Commons:Deletion requests/File:Bismarck-Navedabattaglia.jpg - I specifically addressed the point that us not knowing the author in 2015 is not the same thing as the photo having been published without disclosure. And even more confusing is the fact that you added the {{Not-PD-US-URAA}} to them - Commons requires the image be PD in both the country of origin and the US. Why were they kept if they are not PD in the US? Can you explain your rationale for these please? Parsecboy (talk) 11:40, 9 June 2015 (UTC)

Why is the Hågahögen picture not eligible for speedy deletion?

No need to nominate File:Uppsala Hågahögen bild 1.JPG for deletion. I trust your decision. However I would like to know the reason, so I can learn and not repeat the same error. It is practically the same picture as the number three, but at a much lower quality (blurry). I do not see any point in keeping number one. What could possibly be the purpose? How can you assume that I received any such requests, when I didn't. Just this morning I got this huge list of photos that someone is presuming I don't have permission to use. Wouldn't it be reasonable to give me time to respond to your queries. I can verify that the photos I've used are mostly from Jesuit Missions magazine, with permission of the Jesuit Conference that holds the rights, and that those from Belize diocese come with the permission of the Bishop and more directly from Ruben Wong who works for us and keeps the Diocesan website where all the bishops's pictures came from. He assured me that they are not owned by the photographers but by the diocese, and that the pictures of the cathedral he took personally. Let's give me time to respond to any increased demands you're making of me (beyond those I received in April). I assure you I have carefully considered the rights for every photo I used. Permission about copyright on Conggiao.info

Supplication for deleting photo without consequences

Hello. I have big supplication to you. On my list of files there is still one that infringes copyrights. I know well that some time ago I have been uploading such illegal files. Administrators were threatening me about blocking. Now I have been uploading many images, that I have made myself and I still want to create legal files.

Because of this, and because of my awareness (now I know that I mustn't upload copyright-infringing files) — I supplicate you to delete this copyright-infringing file: File:Niekrytykrytyk.png without any consequences to me (ban etc.).

I'm conscious that I shouldn't upload such files anymore, and I hope for fruitful cooperation in the Commons by transferring my copyright, legal files in future, without blocking me. I'm sorry for the situation and confusing you. I wish you all the best, Kszapsza (talk) 19:57, 9 July 2015 (UTC)
