When it was time for me to go to school, I was so excited because after all, there are books there. The first few years were great, but then things seemed to get harder, and reading was no longer my favorite thing to do. I still loved books and being read to, but I had a difficult time reading on my own.

About the Author
Dr. Cherita Johnson-Morrow has a Master of Science in Counseling and Human Services, a Master of Science in Educational Leadership, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Dr. Johnson-Morrow's philosophy that all students can learn and eliminating the cookie cutter approach to teaching led her to write this book in honor of her children and all children who have different learning abilities. She works full-time with students as a school district administrator and resides in Western New York with her family.
